Latest Newsletter - Friday 29 November 2025

A busy-busy week in the lead up to Advent! Nursery children have completed Balance Bike training; Years 4, 5 & 6 have taken part in multi-sports sessions and Cezanne class attended a Boxing trip. Xavier Leopold visited Year 6 to inspire their art and design work; Years 2 & 5 had Fire Safety talks delivered by the London Fire Brigade and library visits have continued. 6 Leopold continue with their ‘Joy of Moving’ sessions with Millwall; music, performing arts and PE lessons continue to go really well too.

We have raised funds for a number of very worthwhile causes in the past few weeks, a summary of monies raised so far is in the full newsletter (attached below). Thank you to our whole school community for your generous support, it really is appreciated. There are many events coming up, please do look at the attachments below including our diary dates sheet for full details. A summary of upcoming events for next week are posted below.

Our Collective Worship theme this week focused on ‘Love’ where we’ve thought about how much God loves us all equally, what love is, and how we can show love to others in many different ways. We start with Advent next week.

Wishing you, along with our whole community, a great weekend
God bless, from the St. James’ team.
