Latest Newsletter - Friday 22 November 2024

We’ve had another really busy and productive week. Individual photos were taken of children and their siblings - see newsletter for details on ordering and collecting;
KS2 children had a visit from the Mayor of Southwark; Library visits continued;
some Year 5&6 children attended a Futsal competition through the London PE network; 6 Leopold continue with their ‘Joy of Moving’ sessions with Millwall; music, performing arts and PE lessons continued throughout the week. Many thanks for your support with contributions to our school fund and donations for the bake sale.

Our Collective Worship theme this week focused on ‘Hope’, where we’ve really thought about the importance of our character trait ‘optimism’. Next week, we’ll explore ‘Love’ before we start with Advent towards the end of the month.

Our full newsletter is attached below together with an updated sheet containing Diary Dates. This is such a busy time of year so do check these sheets as they are issued regularly including additions & edits, which are highlighted. Also attached is information regarding vaccination catchup sessions in Southwark and a Christmas Card design competition from our friends at Macai Construction.

Wishing you, along with our whole community, a lovely weekend.
God bless, from the St. James’ team.
