Latest Newsletter - Friday 15th November 2024

Another busy week here at St. James’. Children from Years 1-6 attended an Armistice service in church on Monday; 4 Monet attended a Remembrance memorial service at West Lane; most children from Reception – Year 6 have engaged with Anti-Bullying Week workshops in school delivered by ‘One Day Creative’ (some were sadly cancelled last minute due to the facilitator being unwell); Year 5 attended a ‘SportInspired’ Multi-sports day yesterday at the Castle Centre through the London PE network; 6 Leopold continue with their ‘Joy of Moving’ sessions with Millwall; music, performing arts and PE lessons continue to go really well. Thank you to everyone taking part in supporting Children in Need with own clothes/non-uniform. Our Collective Worship theme this week focused on Remembrance (following Monday’s service), then we’ll move on to think about Hope and Love before we start with Advent towards the end of the month.
Please see our full newsletter and diary dates attached below together with information regarding a Southwark sign competition.

Wishing you, along with our whole community, a super weekend.
God bless, from the St. James’ team.
