Latest Newsletter - Friday 11th October 2024

Another busy week at St James' with a mix of activities to match the mixture of weathers we have been enjoying!  Y2 continued their PE sessions with Surrey Cricket team; a group of KS2 girls attended a Capoeira workshop; Y4 children took part in ‘Dove Day’ positive body image workshops and we're very happy to support the YoungMinds charity today by wearing yellow to school – many thanks for your donations for this! All children continue with library visits, performing arts and music lessons. Please do keep checking the updated Dates for your Diaries sheet attached below. Production dates are all set and events will continue to be added and updated as we receive confirmation of trips and other events. Also attached below is notification of a new parent gym course starting soon as well as information regarding flu immunisation.

Finally, we are excited to see as many of you as possible at Southwark Park running track this Sunday (13th October) to run and/or support Canada Water’s ‘Run Kids Run’ 2km Challenge. We are raising money to continue our work improving our outside spaces to benefit our children. Full information is in the newsletter attached below. You can make a contribution and leave a message of support on our JustGiving page. For all the information you need and to sign up just click the link: https://runkidsrun.org/can.
